Letter to Adele - Jan 7^th, 2012

Dear Adele,

I was introduced to your music about 6 months ago. As a fan, I can be considered a late-comer. When I first saw your "Someone Like You" performance on YouTube, I was completely struck by the musicality of the song and your emotional presentation. As an amateur piano player, I practiced the piano accompaniment for the song but the main part was missing. I have approached friends to do the song with me.

Then one day, a thought came to me. Why don't I write a letter to Adele and express my sincere desire to perform with her. I posted this to my Facebook wall as well as my Twitter stream and others thought it was a good idea, possibly thinking that I was not entirely serious.

In the interest to keep my contact information private, I would like to offer a page on my site http://this1that1whatever.com/feedback which can be used to contact me.

In practical terms, I don't see this happening. But I like to keep this dream alive.

Performing with Adele's Someone Like You

I played my piano accompaniment to Adele's Someone Like You which was played on an LG Optimus One Android smartphone through my audio system and recorded on an iPhone 3G using the Voice Memos mono recorder. A higher quality recording (YouTube video) is planned for the future.
