Which traffic sources yield the most loyal visitors?
The research study by chitika.com compared the number of visitors coming from the major traffic sources. A visitor to a site is considered a "loyal" user on the basis of 4 or more visits per week.
This is very useful information showing that the social networking sites refer the most loyal visitors, exceeding the loyalty factor of the search engines. My plans are to pursue search engine traffic through organic traffic growth via SEO (Search Engine Optimization) as well as through social networking sites with Facebook as a primary platform.
In light of the research data, I will place emphasis on leveraging social media networking.
