Google AdSense Advertising Revenue

Google AdSense offers a contextual advertising solution to web publishers. It is a program that empowers online publishers to earn revenue by displaying relevant ads on a wide variety of online content.

I studied the AdSense policies very carefully in order to avoid violation. It has been widely circulated that violations can lead to permanent ban. Given that Google does not offer direct email or phone support, I hazard to think what I would do should I be banned for a violation. I will cross that bridge if I get there. In the meantime, I have done my best by knowing the policies.

One area that is beyond my control, is click fraud perpetrated against the ads on my site. Of course, I would not click on the ads on my own site as that would most certainly get me banned (it is a violation of the AdSense policies). Click fraud occurs when a person, automated script, or computer program imitates a legitimate user clicking on ads. The AdSense ads presented on my site are intended for legitimate human visitors to my site who find an interest in exploring an ad.

I am investigating other sources and types of advertising solutions for my website. These include other CPC (cost per click) and CPM (pay per 1000 impressions) ads from other ad networks. There are also various providers of inline text ads.

I find it disappointing that I am not able to get direct email or phone support from Google which refers me to the AdSense Forum. An example of an issue is with an error appearing in the Firefox Firebug console.

My search in the AdSense Forum and elsewhere online reveals many people having reported the same problem but I found no reports on its resolution.
